Eu (Nome), venho por este meio expressar a minha discordância em relação à Central Fotovoltaica de Estoi (CFE) e à instalação de 175.000 painéis fotovoltaicos entre Cerro do Leiria, Barrocais, Pereiro e Peral, em ambos os lados da estrada N398.

O território proposto do Barrocal Algarvio é desde 2008 classificado como Reserva Ecológica Nacional e oponho-me veementemente a que esta área verde seja destruída irreversivelmente para a construção de uma grande central de energia solar.

O local alberga atualmente 250 espécies de plantas, das quais 46 são espécies RELAPE (Plantas Raras, Endémicas, Localizadas, Ameaçadas ou em Perigo de Extinção). Existem 127 espécies de aves, tanto migrantes como residentes, incluindo a águia de Bonelli (Aquila fasciata), que tem um estatuto de conservação “raro” (Livro vermelho dos vertebrados de Portugal continental) e na União Europeia com o estatuto de conservação prioritário. O sítio proposto alberga pelo menos 16 mamíferos, incluindo a lebre (Lepus granatensis), que até a Iberdrola reconheceu ser “um endemismo ibérico” cuja “protecção contra ameaças de extinção é fundamental”.

Considero que a construção de uma central solar neste local seria inadequada devido aos impactos negativos que teria no nosso património natural, cultural e na biodiversidade em geral.

I (Name), hereby express my disagreement regarding the Estoi Photovoltaic Power Plant (CFE) and the installation of 175.000 photovoltaic panels between Cerro do Leiria, Barrocais, Pereiro and Peral, on both sides of the road N398.

The proposed territory of the Algarve Barrocal has been classified as a National Ecological Reserve since 2008 and I strongly object to this green area being irreversibly destroyed for the construction of a large solar power plant.

The site is currently home to 250 plant species, of which 46 are RELAPE (Rare, Endemic, Localised, Threatened or Endangered) species. There are 127 species of birds, both migrant and resident, including Bonelli’s eagle (Aquila fasciata), which has a conservation status of “rare” (Red Book of the vertebrates of continental Portugal) and in the European Union with priority conservation status. The proposed site is home to at least 16 mammals, including the hare (Lepus granatensis), which even Iberdrola has recognised as “an Iberian endemism” whose “protection from threats of extinction is fundamental”.

I believe that the construction of a solar power plant in this location would be inappropriate due to the negative impacts it would have on our natural and cultural heritage and biodiversity in general.

Je (Nom), par la présente, exprime mon désaccord concernant la centrale photovoltaïque d’Estoi (CFE) et l’installation de 175.000 panneaux photovoltaïques entre Cerro do Leiria, Barrocais, Pereiro et Peral, de part et d’autre de la route N398.

Le territoire proposé pour l’Algarve Barrocal est classé réserve écologique nationale depuis 2008 et je m’oppose fermement à ce que cet espace vert soit détruit de manière irréversible pour la construction d’une grande centrale solaire.

Le site abrite actuellement 250 espèces végétales, dont 46 sont des espèces RELAPE (rares, endémiques, localisées, menacées ou en danger). Il y a 127 espèces d’oiseaux, migrateurs ou résidents, dont l’aigle de Bonelli (Aquila fasciata), qui a un statut de conservation “rare” (Livre rouge des vertébrés du Portugal continental) et un statut de conservation prioritaire dans l’Union européenne. Le site proposé abrite au moins 16 mammifères, dont le lièvre (Lepus granatensis), que même Iberdrola a reconnu comme “un endémisme ibérique” dont “la protection contre les menaces d’extinction est fondamentale”.

Je pense que la construction d’une centrale solaire à cet endroit serait inappropriée en raison des impacts négatifs qu’elle aurait sur notre patrimoine naturel et culturel et sur la biodiversité en général.
